Default Cutting Carbs? Think Again!

Thinking about going Carb Free, you better think again!
5 reasons why you'll regret that decision,
by Chad Vordem Esche
While it is a good thing to cut out carbs such as candy, soda, chips, and pizza if you're looking to lose some weight. It's not such a good thing to think that cutting out carbs completely is the Answer. Here are 5 reasons you may want to rethink that decision.

1.) Bad Attitude
Restricting carbs too much isn't just bad for your body; it's also horrible for your overall mood. Don't believe it, try cutting off a bodybuilder on the road during their last week of their contest prep and see what happens..
.

2.) Lethargic
Carbohydrates fuel your muscles with the glycogen needed during training. Without carbs you will have a lot less muscular endurance as well as less motivation to get in the gym.

3.) Dumb Dumb
Lack of carbs not only affects your body, it also has a bad effect on proper brain function. Studies show that going below 12 grams of carbs per day significantly reduce brain function and your ability to concentrate.

4.) Appetite Suppression
Eating slower-digesting carbs such as oatmeal take more time to digest and enter your bloodstream in return helping satisfy hunger cravings for a longer period of time. Curbing your appetite is very important in any weight loss program!

5.) Regulation
Eating a carb regulated diet is the answer. Stick to fruits and veggies, and good complex carbohydrates when you need them the most, (1st thing in the morning and post workout). When it's all said and done, your exercise and activity level should dictate your actual carbohydrate intake each day.
